KEEPING UP WITH TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCEMENTS. Our prosthetists from the Carolinas gathered together on April 2, 2019 for a CEU course presented by one of the industry experts, Mark Edwards, CP, MHPE at the Restore OPC Concord office.

The seminar provided our practitioners an overview of the functions and benefits of prosthetics microprocessor knees. A review of the gait cycles and how amputees compensate in their walking was also covered. Furthermore, Edwards also demonstrated tips for training patients to utilize the functions of a microprocessor knee.
